It is a loose sort of show.  It is like a reading, but do not

be fooled by that title because it is more exciting than that.

It is going to be a pretty fun time.  It will be a bit different

from other Jed shows because a narrator will be reciting

Jed's stage directions.   Refreshments will

COUNTDOWN TO THE NEW SHOW:

Jed told me that rehearsals were going along well, and BOY is he

excited these days!!!!!!!!!   When we spoke he told me that he felt

like a  time traveller.  Jed's show is free, but reservations are

1-9-08

Jed came to me with a message:

"I feel great!  I can hear again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I went to the ear infirmary.  It was a wild day.  Since

christmas morning I haven't been able to hear out of my right ear.

While I couldn't hear so well I started to listen to different music

then I had before.  I really enjoyed listening to The Police, and I had

a renewed interest in Devo.  I liked straightforward mono music.

Stereo meant nothing to me.  That was neat, but my head really

hurt.  It felt like someone just hit me in the ear all day and all

night.  I went to the doctor and I was not cured so I went to the

infirmary on 14th street and 2nd Avenue.  I waited a while and that

was a drag, but when I saw the doctor she used interesting tools to

pull something special out of my ear.  I asked her to show me what

it was, and she did.  I will not tell you more.  I am writing about it

now."

12-14-07

Jed called me on the phone today and told me that he will be

doing a show on Friday, February 1st.  He was elated.  Jed did

not offer many details, but he did say that a good portion of the

writing was based on true events.

8-15-07

 Happy birthday Jedidiah!

5-15-07

So, there is good news, and there is some sad news too.  The sad news is this:  it turns out that the May show Jed was talking about will probably not happen in May.   "I still have some work to do.  I guess I got a little too excited when I said it would be in May.  I'm on my way though.  We have some actors ready, and we have a venue: my house.  It's going to be a fun fun time!"  The good news is this:  Jed said that a nose condition he had was finally cured!  It turns out that Jed had an ulcer high up in  his left nostril.    "Yeah, I guess it was bleeding way too much.  I had a deviated septum.  I left my nose unchecked for a long time, and it started bleeding more and more until it was bleeding once, sometimes twice a day for about a month and a half I believe.  It was infected.  It felt like someone had punched my face!  It was disgusting, and it was pretty distracting.  The doctor did all these funny things to my nose.  I saw him once a week for a month.  He stuck freaky tubes up it, he put goggles close up to it and looked around with a light, he stuck a hot rod inside it, and finally, he pulled resse's pieces sized chunks of junk out of it and put the crud on my shoulder to look at!  {Don't worry, he put a napkin on my shoulder first.}  We both agreed that it was pretty cool.  After he said I was cured he told me to go dance in the streets."  So, it's an exciting time for Jed.  He was in such a good mood when we spoke.  We talked in length about athletes with beards {Jed's a big fan of Baron Davis}  Jed told me about his favorite pens, and his interest in Pop-a-Pointcrayons {Jed has two of them}.  Okay, well that's it for now.  Check in here to see when Jed's new show will go up!

4-17-07

In May there will be a show.

1-16-07

I talked to Jed last night.  He's still working on new scripts and stories.  He was pretty

excited, and he said that he would send me another one of his journals in a few days.

When I get it, I'll add it to the site.  He also told me this:  "So, I was on a public access

television show called 'Fancy Nancy's Funny Hour'.  In one episode I play a plastic

surgeon, and in another episode I play a tough guy named Ricky Jordan.  This television

program only airs in Manhattan- I don't know which channel shows it.  If it ends up on the

internet, I'll tell you the link.  It's a pretty good show if I may say so myself.  I want to wish

everyone a happy new year.  I spent this new year's in a theatre that played one giant

block of techno music.  The techno music was strange to me-  I never touch the stuff.  For

most of the party I wore one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses.  I thought I had lost them,

but thankfully I did not.  After the party I ate a really really dense slice of pizza with some

friends.  It was one of my favorite types:  The White Slice.  Anyway, I'm going to get back

to work now.  I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY NEXT SHOW!!!"

Well, there you have it.  It sounds like 2007 will be a fun year for Jedidiah!

11-24-06

Excerpts from one of Jed's journals have been added!  Feel free to look through them if

you are interested in that sort of thing.  Some of the pages look crumpled up because of

the way Jed writes with his hand- he really digs the pen into the page!  I don't know why

he does that.  Jed would like to wish you a "Happy Thanksgiving"

11-17-06

Where is Jed anyway?  Well, he just got in touch with me.  He says that he is busy

writing.  "I'm writing four shows and five stories.  When they're ready I'll tell you. "

He told me to give you the answers to these questions:

Is he working hard?  Yes.

Is he having a good time?  Yes.

Does he feel cool?  Yes.

Has he altered his sleeping habits?  Yes.

Will he do a show in his house?  Yes.

If you have any unanswered questions, feel free to ask him.

10-2-06

It was an eventful week or so for Jed.  His literary show went well, and he was

filmed telling stories in his house.  "There is a green wall outside my room.  We

did some filming in front of it last weekend.  We're going to put some neat stuff in the

background, and eventually it will be on the website.  I'm so excited!  I live in a

funhouse with my three friends from school, so there is always something

interesting going on.  The show on October 25th should be fun.  It is the Ash

Wednesday show once again.  I am writing something spooky for the show.

It is also a birthday celebration for a nice funny lady named Rachel K."

Jed went on about his filming plans:  "we're filming the stories first.  After

we finish a few of those we will start filming the plays."  Jed also said that

he will be filmed cooking his favorite meals.

9-19-06

Jed told me this:  "Last night I had a dream that I went to five different houses and

washed all the dishes in each one.  It was a very nice dream, it felt so productive.

You should come to my show friday.  It's going to be a good literary show."

9-6-06

A new story has been added!  It is called "C O O L".  Jed says it is a small part of a

bigger story.  Jed also had this to say:  "On my way home I saw more vomit.  This

time it looked like lime oatmeal.  I wonder what you have to eat to make a bright

green mess like that.  I saw the stuff, but I had control.  Nothing happened to me."

Jed also told me he is looking to perform this month.  Jed will perform next month

in a Halloween birthday show and he will also be working with the 52nd street

project again.

9-1-06

Jed told me about the show he performed in on Wednesday: "I enjoyed it.  It was a

normal show until someone ralphed {vomited} in the audience!  It was pretty nasty.  It

went on the seats.  I hope that gentleman is doing ok now because he looked pretty

sick.  He was ralphing for a little while, it was intense.  I could smell it every now and

then.  People still stuck around though, and it was fun even though it was really stinky.  I

have been around a fair share of vomit over the past week.  I had to clean that stuff at my

party.  I wonder what's going to happen.  I think if I keep seeing vomit, it will only be a

matter of time before I loose control and ralph!"  Jed also said he is really excited about

Fall coming.

8-29-06

Jed is back from vacation and he is working hard on all sorts of things.  The scripts to

Cursin' and Making Many Messes have been added to the SERIOUSLAND library, as

well as Jed's Wolfman story.  He told me to send this message to you: "Hello!  It's good

to be back here in New York.  I had a great time in Florida!  I made the new drawing on

the opening page there.  That is what I looked like on vacation.  I was stiff like that

because I do not like to get under the sun all that much.  Right now I am writing a few

new things.  I am working on a story that I will tell tomorrow at the Ash Wednesday

variety show.  This one is a love story.  It is my version of a coming of age story.  Ha ah

ha!  We'll see how it goes tomorrow!  Yeah!  Adam and I are coming up with filming

ideas.  The green wall for special effects is painted, and we are almost ready to start

visualizing things on paper.  I had a pretty party in my house.  It was cool.  Yeah.  I

performed in my house for the first time at this party.  It was nice.  I will be performing

once a month for the next three months.  I'll spend some more time filming and writing.

I'll tell you some more about what I am writing when it's closer to being finished.  Oh, ok,

well, I will see you soon"

Jed is really excited!  He was so excited that he stuttered while he spoke to me.

8-15-06

Happy birthday to Jedidiah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7-25-06

I heard from Jed after not hearing from him for a month.  I am not upset at him, he is just

busy, that's all! He is hard at work, and he is in good spirits.  It turns out that he will be

performing in August.  One date is confirmed and the other is not.  "On the 30th I am going

to perform at the Ash Wednesday variety show.  I like this show.  Sometime before then, I

will have a show in my house.  I live in a loft and we built a little stage to perform on.  I've

never even performed on it yet, so this show will be a big deal.  It's going to be a

celebration for my 25th birthday.  I will perform a couple of shorts, maybe tell a story or

two, and I will be the DJ for a good stretch.  We plan to videotape this event in some way.

It's going to be exciting!  Right now I am writing a bunch for shows in the fall.  I am hoping

there will be another four day stretch where I am performing every night like there was this

month."  Jed told me he was getting ready to start filming "Making Many Messes: The

Movie"  He  is also writing several new plays and stories.  The one that is closest to being

finished is a play called "Sizzla".  Jed says this is based on the nation-wide heat wave.

6-17-06

ALERT: Jed would like to have your old magazines.  If you have any old ones to

spare, please by all means contact him.

6-9-06

More performance dates added!  Jed will continue to perform throughout July.

"There will be two different shows in July.  I am working on longer things to perform

in September."  When I asked if he would be performing in August, he said that he

did not know yet.  Jed's birthday is in August, and he will be spending time in one

of his favorite spots: the Tampa Bay area.

5-29-06

I spoke to Jed recently and he was talking in a deep voice.  I asked him about the show

on Saturday and he said "Well yes, I suppose I was wilding during the show.  It sure felt

very nice to me!  Now for the next three Saturdays they will be showing Eating Too Much

VS Eating Too Little again.  I will tell you this: there is another play I am working on that

has a lot of wild behavior.  I'll show it to you... I actually wrote it a while back, but I had to

put it away for some time because it was just so wild.  I'll put the finishing touches on it.

I'll show it to you...  I don't know when.  I will be performing in July but it will be a different

show.  I'll show it one day...  I also want to say this:  I really like all of the actors I have been

working with."

5-23-06

Jed says that he will "definitely wild out" during his next show.  It is the last time that

"Cursin'" will be performed at the 4x4 show.  He says that you should come to this

show.

5-16-06

Exciting news: Jed will stay in the 4x4 show for another month.  This time it

will be an encore presentation of one of Jed's plays as part of a Greatest Hits

show.  Now, I asked Jed how he felt about this and he said "I feel good because

I like to perform all of the time.  I also like to go offstage and peek through the

curtain to watch the crowd and to watch my friends working on the stage.  It

makes me laugh!  Now tell the website people this:  my next three shows are

dedicated to my three roommates."

PS:  Starting Saturday, the 4x4 show will be performed in the new Gotham City

Improv Club {48 W. 21st St}

5-11-06

A new show has been added:  this Sunday night at 7 PM.  Check the performance

schedule for details.  Jed says he will tell a story again... it might be the

Wolfman story once again!

5-10-06

The 4x4 show this Saturday, May 13th will be performed in the old Gotham City

Improv club after all.

5-5-06

Jed said this: "MAN, I had a great time performing yesterday!  I always love to

perform at the Ash Wednesday show.  The Magnet Theatre is a nice place.  I

like the stage, the seats, and the paint job.  They sell a bunch of refreshments,

and they have a table-top Pac Man arcade game that only costs one quarter

{You are not allowed to play Pac Man during the shows, and that makes sense}

My favorite types of Pac Man games are the table-top arcade ones.  I saw some

good improv there.  I was laughing at the show!  I was also slapping my legs from

the laughter.  I told my Wolfman story.  I had a wonderful time!  I would like to tell

that Wolfman story again!"  Jed had a smile from ear to ear, and this smile showed

his teeth.  Next, Jed will be performing in the new play called Cursin'.  "There is a

good cast for this one.  It will be fun to do.  I can't wait to see what the new Gotham

City Improv Club looks like."

4-28-06

If you have not seen Making Many Messes, tomorrow night is your last chance

to see it!  Also, tomorrow will be the last time you will be able to see an improv

show at Gotham City Improv Club's current location {158 W. 23rd St. between

6th & 7th avenues}.  Gotham City Improv Club will be moving to another location

{more details to follow}.  What this means is that there will be no show on May

6th for Jed to perform in.  Jed's new play, Cursin', will be performed starting on

May 13th {pending further notice}.  Also, Jed told me that he plans to tell his

new story, Wolfman and the Window-Shoppers at the May 3rd Ash Wednesday

show.

4-27-06

An interview with Jed is featured on Eve: Forwards & Backwards.  Check it out!

Jed says:  "Go ahead and visit  this thing.  It makes me laugh out loud."  Also, the

next play featured in the 4x4 show will be Cursin' {see the Coming Soon section

for details}

4-24-06

A new section has been added to the website: it is the Coming Soon section.

There you may read summaries of new projects that Jed is working on.  Jed is in

high spirits now.  He really enjoys performing once a week.  He also recently saw R.

Kelly in concert.

4-16-06

On wednesday May 3rd Jed will perform in the Ash Wednesday variety show

at the Magnet Theatre.  "They changed venues from the Parkside Lounge to the

Magnet Theatre.  I have never been inside of the Magnet Theatre.  It will be a fun

show."  Jed told me to tell you that he finished his taxes.  He says that he has five

different plays and four different stories inside of his head.  I told him to finish them

so you can read them.

4-4-06

He added three new stories to the website.  He said a great time performing

Saturday at the improv club.  If you have not seen him yet, I think you should!   He is

very relaxed on the stage these days.  Jed was telling me how much he loves April

Fool's day hoaxes.  He told me a couple of his hoax ideas and they were just awful.

I will only say that  I am glad he did not decide to pull them off.  I will not describe the

hoaxes to you.  When I spoke to Jed he was watching one of his favorite movies:

Buster Keaton Rides Again.  Jed is very very fond of Buster Keaton.  Jed said,

"Before I go I need to tell you one thing."  "What", I said.  Jed said "You know, I do

other things besides writing and performing."  I said, "what are these things?"

"Taxes"  Jed said.  "Taxes, Taxes, Taxes"  He said again.  "You do your own taxes,

Jed?"  "Yes.  I also am doing taxes for two other people."  And after that, he left and

went to bed.  Boy, Jed is busy.

3-25-06

Jed called me up on the telephone.  He was in good spirits, and he was using slang

during our conversation so I know he was feeling comfortable with me.  He offered

a synopsis of his new play, Making Many Messes:

"When the barbarian of making messes and the

barbarian of passive aggressive behavior become

roommates, they collide, and trouble grows faster

than bamboo for real. Will these two barbarians

make efforts to change their lives and relax like

librarians, or will they simply continue Making

Many Messes?  No one will ever know the answer

until the ending of this play  {based on a true story}."

Making Many Messes will be the first play that Jed shares during his two

month stay in the Gotham City Improv Club as part of the 4x4 show.  "I think

Nick and I will perform this play for the first two or three weeks of April.  The

play is for two of my friends.  Yo, I care about them."  Our conversation went

on and Jed started to talk about both federal and state taxes:  "To all of the

people who visit Seriousland: please do yourself a favor and file your state

and federal taxes.  Taxes are due on Saturday, April 15th. "

3-19-06

I had a serious sit-down talk with Jed recently.  I said "Jed, you know, it has been

quite a while since you provided some new material for your website.  Why don't

you put some more stories on it?  I know that you have some."  Jed said "Well,

you see, I would love to add some of my new stories,  but, then people will already

know what happens when they come to see me read stories at my shows.  It's the

same with my plays.  I don't want people to read the play and know what is going

to happen before they even see it."  I told him this:  "Well, Jed, that makes very little

sense.  You should still think of putting some new things on the website so you can

raise the interest of people who don't even know who you are.  You know, there are

people too far away from you to see your shows, and they want to look at

something.  It must be so very very boring for them to just visit a website that never

adds new material.  You should keep them in mind, and stop being silly, and add

some new material for them to read."  He got very sad when I told him that.  There

was a long pause, but after the long pause he said this:  "I miss lots of people.  I

want them to know that I care about them.  If you are a person who is far away from

me, I am talking to you right now.  I miss you.  I am saying hello to you right now.  I

said it.  If you think that I would be very very happy to see you, you are right.  If you

think I am upset at you and would not like to see you, you are wrong.  I miss you

very very much, and I think about you.  Now about Seriousland:  the answer is this:

films.  I want to put filmed versions of my plays and stories on the website.  This will

take time though, because we still need to finish construction in my loft so we can

concentrate on having proper lighting and sets for these films.  Since it is going to

take a long time, I would like to take this moment to apologize to all of the people

who visit Seriousland {especially the ones who are far away from me}."

For those of you who are in the New York City area, there is good news

however:  Jed will be performing at the Gotham City Improv Club every

saturday night for the next two months.  At this point it appears that he

will be sharing two brand new plays.   Two other very exciting shows are

in the planning stages, and when dates are confirmed they will be posted

on this website.

3-10-06

Where is Jed?  How is he?  I have been wondering these things for a few days.

I finally heard from him, and he says he is in New York and doing just fine.  He

says that he has been busy planning new shows and writing new stories and

plays.  "I believe I will be sharing a brand new play in the 4X4 shows during

April.  Other than that I am planning new projects.  I will be performing the

play "Teeth" in an elementary school in the coming weeks, and today I read one

of my short stories in front of a camera  for a television show by my friend Nick.

My big plan is to have a show in my loft.  I have been writing things for that show,

so it will feature some new material, and it will also feature that movie I made way

back when with Paul and Adam.  So, I have just been working and drinking a

whole lot of vegetable juice.  I also just started to enjoy eating soup. "  So,

there you have it.  Jed is okay, Jed is in New York,  he is drinking loads of

vegetables juice, and Jed is working on some new exciting things for you to enjoy .

2-27-06

February is almost over.  It was a fun month for Jedidiah.  "I loved performing

every Saturday night.  I'm sad that I will not be doing that in the month of March.

The final performance of Eating Too Much VS.  Eating Too Little was the best one

yet. I will miss the actors Paul and Elizabeth, and I will also miss the Olympics. "  I

asked Jed what he thinks of the month of February and he said this:  "I am always

glad when February ends.  It is a cold month.  It is also a hard month to spell.  I

usually remember how to spell 'February' by the third day of February.  The good

thing is that when February ends, I always feel that springtime weather is coming

sooner rather than later.  I am glad that you have Valentine's day in the month of

February so you can remember what love is."

2-10-06

Jed told me that he will be participating in an Hunter S. Thompson tribute

reading on Saturday, February 25th, just minutes before his show at the

Gotham City Improv Club.  "I know it is a tight squeeze, but it is something I am

very excited about.  I have been starting to read Hunter S. Thompson's work,

and I can honestly say that I enjoy it quite a bit.  I think it will be a triumphant

night, because I also get to perform in the Gotham City Improv Club!"

2-3-06

At 12:47 AM Jed called me.  He was not prank calling me.  Jed never really

does that to me all that much.  He called me to chat.  I asked him, "why are you

awake this late making phone calls?"  He said: "I am excited"  I asked him:

"Why"  and he said: "I can't sleep because I am excited about my show"  I

said: "Jed, your show does not happen until Saturday night.  You still have all

of Friday, and the daytime hours of Saturday to prepare"  His response was:

"I'm that excited.  I am that excited about my show".  So, there you have it.  Jed

also asked me to tell you that he just "can't stop drinking carrot juice".

1-31-06

Jed called me.  He was so excited!  He was laughing a lot, and his voice was

not too high, but not too deep.  It was just normal, so that meant that he was

not tired or hyper or grumpy.  He did have the chuckles though.  He was telling

me about the 4x4 show.  "The play will be Eating Too Much Vs. Eating Too

Little, and it will feature Elizabeth Blue and Paul Snyder in the leading roles.  I

will play the supporting role.   It will be part of a show with three plays by other

people.  The rehearsals have been going along quite well.  I am excited to be

performing one of my plays again.  I said that, and you now know it.  This will

be the longest run of one of my plays to date: one month.  Please tell all of the

people who visit Seriousland that I am very very happy, and distanced from the

treacherous {the many scoundrels snobs and liars}."

1-19-06

Jed will be performing in one of his plays each Saturday night  during the

month of February, at the Gotham City Improv Club.  It will be part of a show

called 4x4.  He is quite excited.  "I don't know which play it will be yet, but I

think I have an idea... I can tell you this though:  I am excited about doing one

of my plays once again.  You see, I have performed in the 4x4 show once

before with Nick and it was quite a nice time... yup.  I'm just remembering it

now- it was a very funny time!"  Here is an update on the collection of stories

Jed will be printing: the collection will include 8 stories and a forward by the

man himself.  Who knows what the title is.  He did not want to tell me what it is.

Jed is overjoyed!  He is also working on other stories as we speak.

1-1-06

Jed wishes you a happy new year.  He called me and he was talking in a

deep voice yet again.  He said this: "Yeah-yeah; I was hosting this party with

my roommates.  It was a good party.  So many people let it ride!  HA HA HA HA,

HA HA HA! "  Jed is excited because 2005 has come to an end.  In his opinion

2005 was "a year slightly busted up with treachery."  He is also excited

because his collection of stories is fairly close to being finished.  His next

show will probably feature this collection of stories and other theatrical feats

and treats.

12-27-05

Jed has recovered from his cold but says he will not be performing on new

year's eve.  "I do need time to prepare.  I will be doing a show again soon, and

when it happens, it will be lots of fun!  I wish everybody a happy holiday

season and a  happy new year."  Also, a play that Jed wrote called "Snakes"

has been formatted and is now on the website.

12-23-05

Jed has a cold.  He contacted me and his voice sounded deep again.  He

said he may possibly perform at a new year's eve party at his house, but he is

not sure of this yet.  "It all depends on how I feel, and how soon I can prepare".

Before our conversation ended he told me this:  "Please tell them that I like

sunglasses".  So, there you have it:  Jed likes reading glasses and

sunglasses.

12-18-05

So the christmas pageant that Jed worked on was performed yesterday.  "It

was a nice time doing that thing, you know.  At the end of the show they called

us out and a priest gave me a nice bunch of flowers, and all the people there

clapped.  Afterwards, people gave me a box of chocolates and a nice lady gave

me a bottle of wine that is from France.  So, there you have it: a day of firsts:

the first time I worked on a christmas pageant and the first time people gave

me flowers and wine from France for doing a show."  Jed seemed to be in

good spirits when he was telling me this, but his voice was a bit deeper than it

usually is.  The topic switched to performances, and Jed said that he will not

be performing until next year.  When I brought up the fact that 2006 is two

weeks away he acknowledged that and said he liked saying he was not doing

something "until next year" because it seemed so much more dramatic. "Go

on and talk like that." he said is his deep voice, "These next two weeks are the

perfect time to say those things. Here are some examples:  'I am not speaking

with you until next year'  'I will not kiss her until next year' 'I will not go to the

movies until next year' 'I will not pay my rent until next year' 'I will not clean my

bedroom until next year'"

Jed called me after I have not heard from him in a long time.  I was

mad excited to hear from him to be honest.  He told me that he was the

most busy he has been in a long while.  "I'm working quite a bit these

days.  First it's the busy job printing on the weekdays, then it's the

busy christmas pageant on the weekends, and then whenever I am not

doing that I am doing construction work.  That is why I have not been

able to provide new material for the website.  I have still been

writing though, and I printed out sample versions of my collection of

stories.  I'm close to having a title too.  The last reading I did, on

the 10th went very well.  Actually, it was one of the best readings

I've ever had.  I had so much fun that night.  So much fun.  I am

having fun in my life.  I am glad that I am surrounded by people with

honor.  I am glad that I am not surrounded by the dishonest now."

11-24-05

He had a great time performing in the Siberia bar.  Yes.  That is

what he told me.  "I read two of my new stories from the next

generation, and another story I read once before.  Yes.  It all went

well.  It was great to listen to Anthony's stories and to Faryl making

music with Nick.  The only thing I would change would be the

temperature of the venue.  I think I will be reading stories with

Anthony again on December 10th.  I don't know when I'm going to do

another show of specifically telling stories after that though.  I

think I will be getting back to showing plays and movies too.  I know

I'll read a bunch to celebrate my book being made, but I don't know

exactly when it will be."

11-23-05

Jed sends his holiday wishes and gives a warning for the season:

"Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope you eat good food.  This season is the

time where everyone is sneezing on their hands and spreading the germs

on everything they touch.  This season is flu season.  To prevent the

spread of germs be sure to bundle up, get enough sleep, eat enough

food and always, always wash your hands as much as you can."

11-10-05

The Ash Wednesday Variety Show happened, and Jed performed.  He read

one of his new stories from the new generation.  He said "I had lots

of fun performing at the Ash Wednesday show.  I always do.  It's a

great place to perform.  A very comfortable place."  Then he said he

had to go to bed."

11-8-05

Jed told me this for real:  "On my way home today, I was star-struck

by 50 Cent.  He was leaving the David Letterman show.  Some people

cheered for him, and some people really said some mean things.  I also

had this crazy dream the other night.  First I dreamt I was 11 years

old and working on the old printing press again. Later on I dreamt

that I was with a friend inside a book store.  We were looking at the

DVD's of Sex & The City.  The DVD swallowed me up, and I became a

character in the show.  Now I must confess, I am a bit of a prude so

there were no dirty scenes in my dream.  I was just taking catnaps and

drinking coffee with the fictional missus.  This show... this show on

wednesday... I'm going to tell a story I've never told before.  The

next few shows will be readings.  After that, I will share plays and

movies again."

11-4-05

Jed performed at the contest, but he was not selected to go on to the

final round.  This is what he said to me: "I learned several lessons

performing in the contest and I'm glad.  I also took risks when I

performed so I'm glad.  I can't wait for my upcoming shows, and I said

that.  I really have to go to bed now though, because I'm this wild

working man who has to get up in the mornings."

11-1-05

I talked to Jed, but this time he called me.  He started talking

about Halloween.  He said: "This Halloween was a good one.  I saw all

of these people with great costumes in the streets.  I myself was a

sailor.  Well, I went to party over the weekend and I was Waldo and

then on the actual day I dressed as a sailor.  I have a question:

when I take the L train after work, I see many tired people sleeping

on the train.  I take the L pretty deep too, and I just see them

sleeping through my long ride.  Today, a  person sitting next to me

was fast asleep.  His face was making all these noises.  I would not

want to go on a camping trip with this person.  Sometimes his head

would fall on my shoulder and sometimes he would fall on this older

lady sitting on his right side.  After a while, he got so sleepy that

he lost control and fell on the old lady pretty hard.  She pushed him

off and he said "I am sorry.  I am mad tired".  He didn't even open

his eyes when  he said this but I hope he was awake.  I  was

concerned.  I still am.  I'm still concerned.  I always wonder if

these sleeping people have missed their stop.  I have the urge to wake

them up so they don't miss their stop, but I never do because I fear

that I will be invading their personal space.  Sometimes I just want

to take the L train one day and be in charge of waking people up so

they do not miss their stops.  I just don't know what to do."  I told

him he should respect peoples personal space.  What do you think?

10-23-05

The performance schedule has been updated.  Jed told me he was very

pleased with how the 52nd street project show turned out.  Jed will be

co-directing a christmas pageant which will be performed on December

17th.  He told me: "I feel very focused these days.  I am pretty

busy.  Lots of shows just keep on getting planned.  That excites me

quite a bit, you know.  When I have free time, I just want to nap.  I

am excited about the christmas pageant.  I think it's going to look

very nice.  In my head I am picturing it looking spectacular,

actually.  I feel prepared to read my story at the contest too.  I

will give it my all and try to hit my marks.  What I said before...

what I said before about eating sugar and cheese is still true.  What

I said is non-fiction.  I really don't want them as much.  I also do

not drink coffee."

10-18-05

Jed has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman award.

He will be performing with the other semi-finalists on Tuesday,

November 1st at 7pm at a place called Comedy Village.  There will be a

5 dollar cover charge.  More details will be posted on the Performance

Schedule soon.  Jed says: "I'm excited.  I've never really performed

in a comedy club before.  I have the chance to perform in front of a

new audience.  A comedy club audience.  I am sure people will be doing

zany things.  I heard that someone drank their own urine at last years

contest.  I also heard that the person did not win.  I myself will not

be doing anything zany.  I will just be myself and tell these people

one of my stories."

Good Luck, Jed!

10-13-05

Jed will be performing twice in November.  Once on Wednesday,

November 9th and once on Wednesday, November 23rd.  There will be

different material performed in each of the shows.  Jed will share his

next generation of work here.  He will also be performing once in

December, but this date is not yet known.  Also, Jed will be

performing with the 52nd street project in the near future {October

21st, 22nd and 23rd}  Check the Performance Schedule soon for more

details.

10-10-05

Having recently returned from a trip to Franklin, New York, Jed told

me how he was doing.  "I am feeling a change inside of me.  The foods

I used to eat... the junk foods... the many candy bars and cookies...

the excessive amounts of sugar... the excessive amounts of cheese... I

don't want those things anymore.  My body does not want them anymore.

I feel... an attraction to spice.  All of the plays and stories I

wrote have finally changed myself."

9-27-05

Jed has been working on a short movie to be screened at his next

show.  "I wrote the movie in my book.  It is directed by Adam

Christopher and it stars Paul and I.  The movie is loosely based on a

fantasy I had of hanging out with the Major League Baseball player

Alex Rodriguez.  There are some nice camera shots in this one.  I saw

it on the computer.  You know, my work... my work involves morals.

Well, I really learned a lesson when we filmed this movie."

This short movie remains untitled.

9-22-05

I checked in on Jed today.  He gave me a personal performance

because I closed my eyes and he performed his plays in my ears.  He

was telling me about his plans, and he was telling me about his new

writing and what he told me made me laugh.  He also told me not to

tell you what he told me.  I told him I won't tell.  He told me that

I should tell  you to wait.  He said: "Wait"  He said: "I took my

'Just Once' vitamin today and I felt great.  I really had the power

because of that vitamin.  You know, I started to think about my

father, and my mother, and I really do like the guy, and I really do

like the woman."

Jed went on to say that he plans to move into a loft in Brooklyn in

the coming months.  The idea is that this loft would also have the

capability to transform into a performance space.  Jed's eyes lit

up, and he raised his voice when he told me about how he was working

with the 52nd street project:  "I am working with the 52nd street

project, doing a show called "playback".  That is where an adult

helps a kid write a play, writes a response to the kid's play and

performs both plays with the kid.  The 52nd street project is this

organization that teaches kids everything they need to know about

theatre.  It's much more than that though.  They offer homework

help, and they expose you to excellent food, wonderful theatre

spaces, and beautiful areas in the country.  It is an amazing

program.  When I was a kid I learned about writing and acting at the

52nd  st. project. I did the playback program last year, and it is

one of the greatest things I have ever done with my life.  These

kids really come up with amazing ideas."

The playback show will be performed in mid October.

Jed will also be performing with Anthony Roman.  More details to follow.

9-14-05

Jed says:  "I enjoyed the show at Galapagos art space a whole

lot. It was great because I was really quite interested in Bjorn's

songs and Jamie's presentation of Alvin.  I saw a lot of my

friends.  It all made me forget about how I fell down and hurt

myself and dropped my cell phone in my toilet"

Jed is also excited about the new generation of stories and plays

that he is working on.  He keeps telling himself the stories, and

they entertain him.  He thinks that is a good sign.  He has plans to

make a book that will be a collection of his short stories

accompanied with illustrations.  There will also be portraits of

noteworthy celebrities complete with biographies of each, penned by

the man himself.  The illustrations and portraits are meant to be

colored in, but the book itself may or may not come with crayons.

The book does not have a title yet, but it should be available by

the holiday season.

9-7-05

Jed has been hard at work in his room writing a new generation of

plays and stories.  He says these stories focus on adventure and

love.  Several shows are in the planning stages, and when the

information is clear, it will be posted on this web site.
