Check this movie out man. It is coming at you hard
with great drama. It's coming at you with "that real"
SPOILER ALERT
It is the depressing story of this poet Reinaldo Arenas.
He lives in Cuba, and he has an ok life for a little while.
His writing is published, and that's cool, but the good
times don't last at all. He goes through hell because
his political writing pisses people off. People also find
out that he is a homosexual, and he gets sent to
prison. So, all this awful stuff happens to him, and you
don't know how he is still alive really. Somehow, he
finally gets out of Cuba, and goes to New York City.
He lives a pretty good life until he discovers that the
worst thing of all has happened to him last.
There's a lot of good acting in this movie. Javier
Bardem does a good job. There are also neat cameos
from Johnny Depp and Sean Penn.
