Bambi

5 out of 5

I saw this movie in a strange, warm and trippy theatre

on a school trip when I was a kid.  I'll talk about this

movie like I'll talk about anything else that was crazy in

my life.  Listen, it was some real ass shit.  If you're a

square, disagree with me; whatever.  To me, as a kid

watching in the movie theatre, Bambi was an animal

AND  a human being who I knew personally, who was

touching me spiritually.  The same goes for the mother,

and the same goes for Thumper to a certain extent.

That's how real this situation got for me-  I'm not

playing around here.  I felt like all of the characters

were addressing me, and the youth in general, on a

very deep level, and I felt like I was turning into a wild

animal.  I clearly lost control when I saw this wild ass

animation.  It was exposing me to some themes that I

hadn't really thought that much about.

When I saw the movie I had no idea that a female deer

was called a doe, and that a male deer was called a

buck.  I had no idea what the deal was.  That

information was way over my head, so when Bambi

grew into a buck that really flipped my mind because I

thought Bambi was a girl for a large chunk of the

movie.  The whole thing was an immaculate

experience.  I felt like I had cold water thrown on my

soul. I felt like I had cold water thrown on me without

me EVEN KNOWING WHAT WATER WAS.  I also felt

those same sort of feelings, BUT WITH WARM WATER

TOO.   That's how bonkers I became.  It's real.  The

whole experience for me was buckwild.  It was

beautiful.  Peace.

THE END.
