An Education

This is that coming of age shit. It's a good movie. It's
about this chick in High School in England, so you
know they're coming with the accent, and the slang,
and the freaky driving. You know the deal. I'm sure
you know the deal.

Peter Sarsgard plays this british dude who starts
kicking it with the High School chick, but he's mad old.
It's sort of weird. I used to get really annoyed when I was
young. I would discover that girls my age were going out
with old dudes. SAY IT AIN'T SO! It gave me a very
unique feeling of anger. It was annoying, like when one of
your uncles would take your arms and slap your own face
with them; and then have the nerve to ask you why you are
hitting yourself. I HATE THAT SHIT. It just was not fair
when those old guys came around. It's like going to the
prom, but seeing your date dancing with a giant hand that
just crashed through the goddamn wall. It's very upsetting
and intimidating, and it makes no sense. It's some ruthless
ultimate cockblocker shit.
Almost instantly, that attention from old guys made these
girls feel like they were women, and they would really scoff
at me and my wild ass behavior. F that. I'm not the fool
honey, you are. I'm true to myself. I'm like a Pelican
getting what I want in this world. Nowadays, that dating
behavior still is weird to me. Back in the past people told
me I could be the old guy with girls in the future, but nah. I
don't want to be that old guy like Sarsgard, even though act
like a damn kid. Whatever. That is not for me. Some of
these fools want to judge me for riding my bike? Clip that.
As far as the acting goes, I think the whole cast
delivers. Sarsgard does a good job and he didn't piss
me off at all. My man Alfred Molina lays it down like
that pro. The mother was great in this too. Also, let me tell
you... THE WONDERFUL TEACHER FROM RUSHMORE IS
IN THIS! She's fantastic in this world. I wondered what
happened to her. I'm glad that she is still on the scene.
The main character does a good job too. Listen, the whole
movie lays it down like a pipe layer.

Anyways, this girl in the movie starts getting crazy
about Sarsgard, and she doesn't want to go to
college! I don't know why she would not want to go to
college- why wouldn't you want to prolong being a
complete real world looser with four years of wilding and
exploration?
SPOILER ALERT
I did the math... by the time she would get to her senior
year at Oxford, it would be 1966. I'm glad she got her
senses back and decided to clean up her act and go to
school, because in 1966, her life experience and level
of wilding would MOST DEFINETLY BE ON AND
POPPING.

I must admit, I got a little sleepy during the movie. During
one of the scenes where they are driving I freaked out for a
second- I thought they were going to crash driving on the
other side of the road like that! I was in the zone.
So in conclusion, I will tell you that this movie was Blaze.
If you respect the British, and enjoy coming of age stories,
check this film out.
