Aladdin
5 out of 5

"Just like Aladdin bitch, get you anything you ask for"
-Tupac
The songs in this movie are really catchy. It's a
funny movie. Robin Williams really acts like a
maniac- who knows what the deal was behind the
scenes. This guy MUST have been wilding.
I could picture him entering his house through the wall
like Kool-Aid Man, or through the window like some
wild ass swashbuckler from God-knows-where. He
was probably really funny in that recording studio. He
probably had a tough time driving his car when he was
acting so crazy as that genie. He is the definition of
wild. He's the man, and I have true respect for him.

The fact that I decided to check this
movie out when I was in Junior High says a lot
about the power of this movie, and the power of
big time Disney animated blockbuster musicals. I can't
tell if it was just because I was younger and around
people who were up on that stuff, but it
seems like Disney animated movies used to be
really big achievements that all sorts of different
people talked about. It's not like that anymore.
Everything is made with computers, and that
Disney name is not at the center anymore (even
though all those companies are owned by three
mega corporations). It is Pixar's time to shine and
release classics, and that is wonderful, but it was
pretty funny when these Disney songs would really
be all over the place during the summer. This
period of my life was sort of messed up, but it all
worked out in the end.
